Clinical Workshop

Dr. Eileen McGinley

In this 3 hour-long workshop, detailed clinical material from a member of our own community will be presented to Dr. McGinley. The small group format (maximum 20 participants) will provide ample opportunity for participants to discuss material in depth.
Dr. Eileen McGinley, MRCP is a Fellow of the British Psychoanalytical Society and in full-time private practice. A gifted clinician and respected supervisor, Dr. McGinley has been editor of the BPS Bulletin and has served on the European Psychoanalytic Film Festivals Forum. She teaches widely across Europe and the US, and was the invited Visiting Scholar at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center (2012-2014). In addition to a number of scientific papers, her three recently published chapters focus on enduring loss, migration, and trauma throughout the life cycle. Dr. McGinley will offer her unique expertise on the rupture and repair of psychic breakdowns that occur during treatment.
